Bridges between the 539th and 596th km of the Amur highway
Work finished in July 2008.
A number of engineering structures were constructed at the sections of Chita to Khabarovsk highway (539th-559th km, 559th-576th km, 576th-596th km), including metal culverts across the Bogusia river at the section between the 564th and 582nd km.
Use of metal corrugated pipes makes construction works go much faster and brings down the operating costs. As to the three-arch structure with 8+15+8 m spans, it can be called unique: it is the only case on the Amur road where such arch has replaced a regular reinforced concrete bridge.
