Reconstruction of the M-60 Ussuri federal highway from Vladivostok to Khabarovsk on the section from km 733.5 to 750.
Commencement of work – October 2009, completion – December 2010.
During reconstruction, the road will be widened to six lanes to increase its capacity.
The reconstruction project stipulates a range of measures for improving road traffic safety:
in the section from Knevichi airport to Sanatornaya station, 18 elevated crosswalks and 6 junctions will be constructed and several traffic lights installed;
the road will be equipped with a median strip, which will also reduce accident risk.
The reconstruction project stipulates a range of measures for improving road traffic safety:
restoration and widening of the roadway on the section from km 747 to 750;
construction of engineering structures on the section from km 747 to 750;
construction of new bridges across the Peschanka, Bogataya, Saperka, and Chornaya Rechka rivers;
construction of temporary bypass roads with asphaltic concrete pavement in the vicinity of the Peschanka, Bogataya, and Chornaya Rechka rivers.
