Artificial engineering structures on the Amur Highway
Since 2004, the construction work is being done on 38 job sites of the Amur Highway between Chita and Khabarovsk.
During this time, the following artificial engineering structures with accesses to the following highway sections have been built and put into a regular operation:
800 km – 860 km: 12 bridge crossings; 483 km – 539 km: 2 bridge crossings, 6 CMP (corrugated metal pipes) instead of bridges and 9 CMP (corrugated metal pipes) of a large diameter.
During the time of working together with the client GU DSD Dalniy Vostok, new bridge repair technologies had been developed and applied, polymer additives, improving the quality of concrete mixes, had been used and new technologies for painting metal bridges (Urka River Bridge at the 824th kilometer of the Amur Highway) had been polished.
