Reconstruction of M-60 Federal Route “Ussury” Vladivostok - Khabarovsk at the 639th - 664th-km Section

The motorway section that is 25.3-km long is part of a bypass around the city of Ussuriysk.

The work started in 2009 and is to be completed in June 2011.

The SK Most-Vostok LLC is building three installations:

• Overpass that is 69.94-m long at No.1 Interchange, Stake 8+42 (design: 18.145+33.00+18.145 m);
• Overpass that is 54.6-m long over the railway, Stake 27+88 (design: 3x18 m);
• Bridge that is 144.85-m long over the Rakovka River, Stake 48+54 (design: 8x18 m).

The bridge and overpass projects include the following operations:

• Putting in place drilled pile footing piers;
• Installation of reinforced concrete span girders;
• Construction of the roadway and the bridge embankment interfaces;
• Installation of railing and roadside guard rails;
• Roadway and sidewalk asphalt concrete paving; bridge painting;
• Building stairways on the motorway embankment slopes;
• Approach slope filling;
• Installation of bridge lighting equipment.

Construction equipment on the project sites is from the leading manufacturers: Bauer drilling rig; Kato NK-500 lifting crane; Kato MR-700 lifting crane; 80-ton Grow lifting crane; TNS-30 drilling rig; SB-143 modular concrete mixing plant.
