Construction of a bypass around the Chernyshevskoye village on the highway A-229 Kaliningrad – Chernyakhovsk – Nesterov to the border with Lithuania.
Work started: July 2006; Work completed: October 2007.
The project involves building a 3.26 km roadbed of the second technical category in length, building one overhead and 13 drain water pipes, including seven pipes of 1.2 meterin diameter.
The job on the project site had been completed as part of the Federal Targeted Program "Modernization of the Russian Transport System (2002 – 2010), subprogram "Highways".
The completed bypass will enable drivers to directly reach the new multi-way border checking point Chernyshevskoye – Kirabatai.
