The film narrates about SK MOST technological concepts and capabilities, the most important and interesting projects such as a stay cable bridge to the Russky Island in Vladivostok, Adler - "Alpika-Service" Mountain Resort combined motorway and railway in Sochi, combined tunnel under the Lena River in Yakutsk, Kuznetsovsky tunnel in the Far East, and also presents the company’s major social policy programs.

Bridge crossing over the rivers of Staraya and Novaya Pregolia in Kaliningrad.

Work started: November 2006; to be completed: December 2011.

The bridge crossing over the Staraya and Novaya Pregolya Rivers, intended for a six-lane highway, includes the following structures:

  • a one-level road interchange at the crossing of Devyatogo Aprelya and Frunze Streets;
  • an overhead of accesses to the highway through Moskovsky Prospekt;
  • an overpass bridge over Moskovsky Prospect;
  • an overhead road interchange at the crossing with Moskovsky Prospect;
  • a bridge across the Novaya Pregolya River;
  • an overhead on the island between the rivers of Staraya and Novaya Pregolya;
  • a bridge across Staraya Pregolya River;
  • an overhead road interchange crossing in the area of Dzerzhinsky – Oktyabrskaya – Kalinina Streets;
  • a one-level traffic interchange crossing in the area of Dzerzhinsky – Oktyabrskaya – Kalinina Streets;
  • The length of the overhead between bridges is 841 meters – 20 spans by 42 meters each. Column-type intermediate supports are solid composite reinforced concrete with separate foundations on two - drilled piers. The span structures are composite reinforced concrete, continuous, with their cross-section resembling two bearing H-beams connected with transverse beams.

    The project involves installing auger piles; building pile grills and support stands; erecting bearing elements; site assembly and installation of the span structures, road construction; demolition of residential buildings obstructing the construction of an everhead; dismantling reinforced concrete spans.

    Cranes Hitachi KH500L with a payload of 100 tons, ÊÀÒÎ NK-500E-V with a payload of 50 tons, RDK-250-2 TAKRAF with a payload of 25 tons, a JUNTTAN PM-2640 drilling assembly, and concrete-cutting HILTI machine are used for an enlarged site assembly and erection of the span structures.

    The Project goal is to provide reliable transport connection between the city's districts and the system of regional highways; connect the Kaliningrad transport hub to the network of the country's federal roads; and raise the effectiveness of intra-city transportation.
