Road Interchange crossing in Tyumen ( Morris Torrez St.)
Work started in June 2005 and completed in September 2008.
The total road interchange length is 429.55 m. A Number of lanes is from 6 to 8.
The road interchange crossing consists of seven solid-metal span structures of the central overpass and seven solid pre-stressed reinforced concrete structures at entrances and exits from the highway, which connects Morris Torrez and Mira Streets.
The span structures of the central highway are solid with an orthotropic deck. In the cross section: 6 to 8 flush decks (for each lane) interconnected by transverse ties and crossbeams.
The span structures of exits (entrances) are solid, ribbed, pre-stressed.
The intermediate supports of two types: solid single-pole (without crossbeams) and three-pole supports. Abutments are solid, earth-covered, on a foundation of shell piles 0.6 m in diameter.
The welded span structures of the central highway are assembled by cranes with the help of temporary supports. Reinforced concrete structures of exits (entrances) are assembled on metal pole trestles developed by the MOST Construction Company.
The construction is being carried out in a restrictive urban setting.
