Construction of Storm Sewage Treatment Facilities in Togliatti Special Economic Zone

The work is carried out as part of the Project "Engineering Infrastructure and Transportation Network Facilities of the Special Economic Zone of Industrial Type In The Municipal District of Stavropol, Samara Region - 1st Phase of Construction."

The work started in 2012 and is to be completed in 2013.

Scope of Operations:

  • construction of the main drainage pumping station with a capacity
  • of 8,200 m3/hr;
  • construction of storm water storage facilities for storing and treating 10,000 cubic meters of storm water;
  • installation of deep second purification facilities of 25 liter per second capacity;
  • construction of mechanical sludge dewatering facilities No. 1 and No. 2 with a capacity of up to 5 cubic meters per hour;
  • construction an ultraviolet disinfection facility with a capacity of up to 310 cubic meters per hour;
  • construction of a purified water reservoir of 1000 cubic meters capacity;
  • putting in place utility lines of a total length of 1,600 meters.

The water treatment facilities are designed for purification of the runoff coming from the engineering and transportation infrastructure facilities. The incoming water that has been purified from mineral impurities, suspended solids and oil products can be used in water bodies for fish breeding.
