Civil engineering / Residential complex in Belogorsk Residential complex on Kirova St. in Belogorsk, Amur Region
Construction started: June 2005. Construction completed: December 2007.
The residential complex comprises four same-type buildings, each of which made up of four different-typed sections of 3, 4, or 5 stories in heights. All sections are equipped with basements, and top floors are equipped with mansard roofs.
Total building floor space – 4,674.7 m2
Total floor space of apartments – 4,175.8 m2
Number of apartments – 40 ( 2, 3, 5, and 7-room apartments)
The buildings have been built with the use of a new energy and heat conservation technology Isodom-2000, which is used in construction as a permanent formwork for building retaining walls and other structural elements and is represented as polystyrene foam blocks.
New Isodom-2000 technology assumes:
- decrease of construction timeframes (the same area of a wall takes much faster to builde than when using traditional materials);
- cost saving (1 square meter of an Isodom-2000 wall costs about 20-30% lower than a price for a brick wall);
- high heat conservation and technological properties – heating an Isodom-2000 building is 1.5 to 2 times less than in comparison to a brick wall;
- simplicity of installation of the internal plumbing systems;
- obtaining additional useful dwelling space (Isodom-2000 walls are only 25-35 cm thick, which is incomparably less thinner than other construction materials with the same heat conservation properties);
- saving in building foundations (Isodom-2000 walls create a much smaller load on the foundation in comparison to other wall materials).
