Mansky railway tunnel

Construction of the new Mansky tunnel on the Abakan – Taishet section of the Krasnoyarsk Railway.

Construction start – 2005

Tunnel length – 2460.63 m

Scope of work: new tunnel and gallery construction parallel to existing tunnel 59 meters away. The gallery is being bored by a LOVAT RME - 139 SE 21100 shield tunnel-boring shield machine, D=3.56 m.

Gallery boring will be finished in 2010. The start of tunnel construction is planned for 2010.
