The Bridge is at the 670th kilometer of the odd track of the Liski-Rossosh section of the South-Eastern Railway.
Work started: November 2004; to be completed: July 2008.
The Bridge structure is 19.26+56+121.2+121.2+56+19.26 meters. The metal span structures with tracks on ferroconcrete slabs. The trusses of the span structures have been designed for two tracks and the existing supports for three tracks.
The project involves replacing all the span structures; repairing supports and abutments using the injection technique and encasing them in ferroconcrete jackets; restoring guide bunds.
The spans measuring L = 56 m were installed from temporary supports using the transverse sliding technique. The spans measuring L = 121.28 m were installed using floating systems. The spans measuring L = 19.26 m were installed using truck-mounted telescopic cranes.
Vibrating pile drivers and Junttan PM 26 LC drilling assemblies were used to install piles and set up temporary supports. The assembly and installation of the span structures are performed using high-payload cranes KАТО – 500, HITACHI, GROVE.
The Bridge reconstruction is being done in the conditions of heavy train traffic.
