Railway Bridge over the Oka River
Reconstruction of a Railway Bridge over the Oka River at the 107-km Mark of Mikhnevo - Ozherelie Section, Moskovskaya Railway Line (City of Kashira).
The work started in 2001 and was completed in the 2008.
The design included:
- repair of the pillars of the bridge that was built in 1900;
- building of a new bridge running in parallel with the existing bridge;
- removal of the bridge that was built in 1933.
The first phase included repair of all pillars of the six-span bridge built in 1900; removal of the old span structures; putting in place the span deck.
Bridge design: 27+4x126.73+27 m. Bridge length is 580 m.
The second phase included the building of the new bridge and removal of the bridge built in 1933.
